What’s new in 2023?

We are teaching classes this year around the restorative forest and woodwork we do here on our farm.

Right now we are developing the indoor workshop space and will begin hosting classes starting in July. Final schedule to come.

These are 1/2 day events that give exposure the tools, techniques and information of biochar production and use, improving your woodlot through ‘worst first logging’, and positive impact forestry work. Finally we introduce you to understanding how to select trees for different products based on the tree's natural strengths and characteristics.

The saw mill continues to develop with our focus on timber frame cottages and cottage kits.

We sell kit parts, beams, and specialty timber components.
